Bethel School is
now participating in a scrip program. Order forms are available in
the office for about 100 merchants, including grocery stores and
fast food restaurants. You pay the
face value of the scrip and the school receives a percentage.
Orders received in the office by 9:00 a.m. on Monday should be
filled on Friday of the same week.
Like most private and parochial schools, Bethel is always
looking for ways to raise funds for our programs. In
addition, we try to minimize the annoyance and frustration
experienced by dealing with what seems to be perpetual
fundraisers: candy, wrapping paper, etc.
Bethel is participating in "painless" fundraisers -
online shopping, surveys and donations: label redemption programs,
recycling and rebates. Although the amount generated per
person is small, the totals can add up to a lot.
Participation in these programs is not limited to Bethel
parents. Encourage others to save labels for us, to register
their Target guest cards or to shop online and designate Bethel as
the school they want to benefit.
If you own or work for a business that would be willing to
donate used printer cartridges, for example, or order order office
supplies through one of the sites that gives a rebate to Bethel,
that would be helpful also.
If you have any suggestions for other fundraising activities or
would volunteer to work on fundraising, please contact the school
office or Lucy Knapp at
lucyknapp@bethelkids.org.
Your support for these programs is both needed and appreciated.
